TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH
MUSIC
HANDBELLS
Trinity has been blessed to have a three-octave handbell choir since 1979, and has recently added hand chimes to give their music selections a new and welcomed sound. They play at church services throughout the year and at local nursing homes at Christmas time. The handbell choir members serve their Lord and congregation during workshop services on the third and fourth Sunday of each month. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings 6:00 - 7:00 pm from September through May. The handbell choir is also available upon request for special events.
PRAISE HIM CHORUS
Praise Him Chorus is a women's choir that has been singing praises to the Lord at Trinity for over 35 years. Their music is Christ-centered and biblically-based to the glory of God using a blend of contemporary arrangements and old favorite hymns. The choir practices on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm September through May in the church balcony.
DAY SCHOOL CHOIRS
Trinity School has two choirs: K-4 & 5-8. Each choir sings at Sunday services once a month. They sing at chapel services, nursing homes, the school Christmas service, afternoon advent and lent services, and the spring musical. Choirs also sing at the Festival of Hope each December, and have a concert during National Lutheran School's Week (end of January). The K-4 choir occasionally travels to various churches in Boone to sing at their worship services.
